Core Aspects of the Role:
- Process review, analysis, scoping and transformation within the Accounts Payable (AP) construct.
- Working with the process owners to define and document the current internal operating model
- Designing and developing a future state operating model including transition roadmap.
- Using your SME knowledge, seek opportunities and deploy solutions that utilize process transformation / automation / data science / analytics where possible to build efficiencies in the transformation
- Embed a robust data governance, controls and reporting framework to all processes reviewed
- Work with risk and control teams from both project governance and process governance / documentation perspectives
- Effectively project manage all components of change within the program including the implementation / transition to new operating model
- Report on progress and keep business partners closely appraised of progress and delivery
- Bring structure and leadership to the program including providing direction and mentorship to junior change resources working on the program
