What you will be doing
To prepare the annual statutory financial statements as well as to ensure timely completion of the LE statutory audits as per deadlines.
Review and preparation of annual statutory accounts for respective APAC/EMEA legal entities in accordance with local GAAP
Co-ordinate the audits with local Audit firms in order to complete and file the accounts by filing due dates.
Perform preliminary investigation prior to audit of audit requirement, new changes per local regulatory/statutory requirements
Assist in preparation of audit time table, keep a track on various internal review deadline and time flow of information
Review/Preparation of schedules/ reconciliations/support for audit and address all queries on timely basis to auditors
Work with BU, Legal, corporate, treasury, HR, payroll to obtain documents/information/approvals etc. as required for audits
Review/Preparation of Financial statements (FS) and disclosures as required
Assistance/Preparation of annual LE returns and liaising with Tax/ Corporate/External Advisors to facilitate the completion of tax returns by filing deadlines
Preparation of final FS package and address queries from corporate STAT team during FS review/obtain approvals
Work with Tax team to obtain approvals on tax workings and disclosures
Book all stat adjustments in Oracle and secondary ledger
Perform a review and maintenance of local GAAP to US GAAP transactions/balances
Coordinate with local bookkeeper, perform Oracle v Local books reconciliations
Timely completion of monthly/quarterly and annual statistical surveys
Perform dividend solvency tests
Promptly Respond to adhoc corporate and other queries
Perform monthly/Quarterly group variance analysis
Preparation of quarterly and annual Tax Packages for US GAAP
Completion of the annual 5471 intercompany Tax reporting forms
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
1) CA Fully Qualified
2) Statutory Auditing and Reporting (must)
3) IFRS(good to have)
4) GAAP(good to have)
Skills
- 3-5 Year of experience in Stat Audit and Reporting.
- Good accounting knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deliver output under pressure with accuracy and eye for detail
- Willingness to learn & grow
- Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes in the process
