Position Summary – ET F&BM is seeking a highly motivated and high performing Sr. Analyst for the Portfolio Manager function.
The Portfolio Manager is expected to execute requirements set forth in the Global Supplier Management Policy and Third Party Oversight ( TPO) Standards for their portfolio of engagements. This role is responsible for managing the full life cycle of vendor engagement, starting with onboarding into the corporate tools, through steady state and offboarding. The position reports directly to the Executive Director, ET F&BM Core Shared Services Lead.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record and prior experience in one or more of the following: Supplier Oversight Services, Category Sourcing & Spend Control, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, Vendor Relationship & Risk Management, Risk Assessment, Vendor Onboarding, Vendor Catalog Product Management, Contract Negotiation and Control & Performance Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Engages required stakeholders as appropriate (e.g. Supplier Oversight Services (SOS), Delivery Managers (DMs), Category Sourcing) prior to communicating with a prospective supplier on a specific, unfulfilled need, and incorporates their requirements throughout the process of Onboarding, Steady State and Disengagement.
- Serves the role of Category Sourcing for those engagements in which Category Sourcing is not required or in which Category Sourcing has delegated its authority to the LOB.
- Identifies whether the supplier will be using any subcontractors as part of the engagement.
- Identifies and resolves gap issues (e.g. validation of benefitting countries, APAC supplemental data requirements).
- Manages and monitors engagement, including:
- Updating COMPASS information to reflect current contract status, ownership and other contract meta data (e.g., cost center);
- Monitoring and managing approaching contract expiration dates to mitigate gaps in contract coverage;
- Handles or escalates any indications of potential issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Monthly Preparation and reporting of Portfolio Management Book of Work providing a complete preview of all deliverables due in the next 12 months.
- Liaise with Supplier Oversight Services (SOS), the Broker Intake team, Sourcing, Legal, Compliance etc. for all TPO related deliverables.
- Respond to all TPO queries and provide guidance to Delivery Managers on a timely basis.
- Support DMs in completing TPO requirements and guiding them through completion of the deliverables during the Onboarding, Steady State & Disengagement phases.
- Complete all country compliance, data privacy and legal compliance reviews for engagements to be compliant with the TPO Program.
Key Skills/Requirements
- Manages their basket of COMPASS engagements as a logical portfolio with the requisite accountability and tracking of onboarding workflow requirements.
- Meets all criteria to perform the role, as required by Supplier Oversight Services(SOS).
- Knowledge of and influence over the outsourcing strategy of the business that the Portfolio Manager represents.
- Subject matter expertise in a broad technology infrastructure domain (e.g., EUS, Data Center, Cloud Computing, Networks).
- Vendor Management experience preferred (Sourcing Process, Contracting, Vendor Risk Management).
- Experience in a matrix management framework – i.e. manage by influence without direct authority.
- High degree of numeracy and experience with Financial Modeling, Planning, P&L Management and Business Case creation and development.
- Maintenance of applicable Business Control Committees and Forums.
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvement and automation, leveraging industry best practice.
- At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, vendor sourcing, TPO, vendor management and new business initiative approvals.
- A strong knowledge of the JPMC GTI (Global Technology Infrastructure) services is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience in governance and oversight roles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across organizational and geographical boundaries.
- Strong control orientation, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Superior communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build rapport, garnering respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with Clarity, SharePoint and COMPASS tool knowledge and experience preferred.
