The Role Responsibilities
- To review Trial Balance movements on a daily / monthly basis and assess variances which then helps in performing analytical review of the Financial Statements.
- Performing data integrity and such other health checks on a periodic basis and escalate any key issues identified.
- Ensuring continuous process and efficiency improvement culture is embedded within the function and an established process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- To ensure that the timelines agreed in the SLA for testing and maintenance of control measures are met and related dashboards are published periodically.
- To support monthly Finance Operational Risk Forum and to monitor effectiveness & efficiency in submissions of various Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- To review reconciliations and follow up for closure of long aged open items (like Suspense Accounts, Bank Recon etc).
- To work with GL support teams, Technology Teams etc in order to implement the identified process improvement measures / automation of process steps

Key Stakeholders
Our Ideal Candidate
- CA /ICMA with 0-1 years or 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Control / Operational risk functions of FIs, internal / external audit experience with leading Audit firms with FI audit experience.
- IFRS certifications , Knowledge /experience preferred.
