Head of Finance Operations is a key person who will undertake all aspects of financial reporting, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, Management Reporting, Cash flow management, Audits, compliance, taxation as well as internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including
- Day to Day accounting and controlling
- A/P including reports and managing the GRIR , payments
- A/R and revenue recognition – follow ups and review and receipts
- GL for accurate accounting and cost allocations
- Depreciation and Revenue Recognition for the Company and its sister concern in India
- General Ledger Reviews and Control for accuracy of accounting, accruals and monthly closure of books
- Publishing of the monthly Actual Expenditure along with the relevant analysis and scenarios
- Preparation of the budget and monthly / Quarterly financial forecasts wherever necessary
- Experience in leading and concluding monthly & yearly closure of books of accounts
- Handle audit and lead closure of audits within the agreed timelines
- Preparation and management of Cash Flow including fund requirements
- Responsible for the assisting in regulatory reporting including statutory filing, statistics board, Tax Authorities etc.;
- Research and implement technical accounting and tax issues for compliance;
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions;
- Manage and comply with Ind AS and Group Accounting Policies
- Group Reporting as per internal requirements
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Strong focus on automation as well as process improvements

Requirement
- A Chartered Accountant with around 10-12 years of experience
- Worked as a Financial Controller in the previous role
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach. Should be able to work on backlogs and help establish the team
- Experience in leading a team, and a good team player.
- Knowledge of Ind AS as well as IFRS and Audits
- Experience with ERP system, sound knowledge of SAP (essential).
- Knowledge of Income Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing etc
- Presentation skills with knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets etc
- Excellent Communication Skills and a Multi tasker
