The Role Responsibilities
The role is for a Change Manager within the Risk & Compliance Change team to own one or more projects within the Risk Strategy Programme from inception through to delivery. Specific responsibilities will include:

The Role Responsibilities
The role is for a Change Manager within the Risk & Compliance Change team to own one or more projects within the Risk Strategy Programme from inception through to delivery. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Identifying the Business problems and technical issues that impact the Process owners/ business users
- Work closely with the IT Stakeholders to identify the solutions to fix the Issues / enhancements requested
- Engage with Key stakeholders to prioritize the changes for the release and document the testing strategy for the changes handled
- Agreeing change scope with senior stakeholders and managing the project scope throughout the project lifecycle
- Clearly defining success criteria for each stage of the project and ensuring successful completion of all tasks within the project plan on time
- Understanding and monitoring cross-project dependencies that may impact project delivery
- Ensuring delivery of projects is in accordance with Standard Chartered project management protocols and standards
- Effective stakeholder management relating to the project, ensuring through both day to day management, and in governance, that project status clearly articulated and timely in its delivery.
- Proactive management of issues and risks pertaining to the project(s) with appropriate escalation where required.
- Compilation and presentation of regular status reporting and governance reporting in accordance with Standard Chartered&rsquos reporting standards.
- Understanding the front to back risk business processes allowing for optimal requirements gathering and synergies between projects
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Extensive knowledge of either credit risk / market risk / Operational Risk/ Compliance management to enable clear, detailed specification of business requirements, and the assessment of proposed technical solutions for suitability in delivering the project objectives
- Demonstrable ability and confidence to build relationships across Risk Management, Technology and Finance at all levels
- Ability and confidence to pick-up new Domains and deliver with minimum guidance and supervision
- Proven track record as a project manager with experience of delivering technology change and business change in a risk management function
- Demonstrable evidence of managing a full project life cycle including: project initiation, requirements specification, development, test planning, test execution, and post-implementation roll out
- Mindset to constantly look for process improvements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Ability to drive and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong analytical capability with close attention to detail
