Assistant Manager Finance (Corporate Banking) PMAD CIBG team
Job Purpose
To provide assistance in financial reporting and analytical support to Corporate Banking frontline for ongoing business decisions.
Ensure payments / staff reimbursements of Corporate Banking as per approved policy.
To assist in managing the financial and business planning process.
Key Result Areas
Assist in maintaining an accurate and consistent management information reporting system at B/S and P&L level as well as line of business, category of product, customer, risk rating etc. including variance and trend analysis.
Maintain the customer / product profitability reporting systems for CIBG (particularly Islamic) and address the adhoc queries / clarifications from ROs / Division Heads / Group Head.
Provide timely and accurate standard and adhoc MIS to the CIBG senior management and frontline for decision making.
Provide support (data gathering, reporting and analysis) in the process of formulating Groups strategic plan (Expense & Head Count) and performance management systems.
Provide assistance in the process of periodic financial / MBO reviews for selected Division / Team / RM and ensure follow up on actionable items agreed to.
Identify areas of financial inefficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
Assist in validation of numbers / assumptions provided by line management for business initiatives and portfolio strategies.
Ensure payments for group expenses and reimbursement to staff is as per approved banks policy.
Maintain a cost center structure and allocation methodology within CBG.
Support Manager Finance and Planning in carrying out other functions as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce / ACA / MBA
Over 2 years experience in Banking including financial reporting and database management.
Knowledge of financial analysis and planning, accounting and portfolio management with analytical skills to transform data into meaningful information for decision making.
Preferably young / relatively fresh finance professional MBA (Finance) / CA
