Job Description :
The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating the delivery of regulatory (EBA & PRA) and internal (IST & RST) stress test exercises across a number of Accountable Executive areas. The role is to work closely with the P&ST FTC Centres of Excellences as well as Model Owners and SMEs to not only deliver the stress tests, but to enhance current processes, ensuring adherence to the control framework at all times.
What will you be doing
• The role will focus on supporting execution and delivery of all stress testing and planning cycles from a Group perspective
• Cycle tracking and status reporting through the use (and development) of the Workflow Tool
• Coordinating Group instructions in advance of the cycles, in collaboration with the responsible Centres of Excellence, consisting of Group detailed timelines, methodologies, governance and data requirements
• Formation of Group timelines, and interlocking with key stakeholders
• Setting up and running of Goverenance forums including Production Oversight Committee / P&ST SteerCo / CoE meetings / AE Working Groups
• Review of the Accountable Executive structure and alignment of requirements to workstreams (registers)
• Key point of contact with Regulator and responsible for the PRA Query log and resolution
• Running of Lessons Learned sessions post cycle completion and incorporating regulator, internal/external audit and stakeholder feedback into future cycles
What we’re looking for:
• Proven project management skills, preferably at Group level
• Experience of Planning / stress testing exercises and continuous process improvement programs
• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to broker decisions with varied teams across the bank
• Conscientious, disciplined and detailed where necessary
• A proactive, self-starter, who is can be relied upon to act on initiative
• Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and execute a plan to deliver effective tactical and strategic solutions.
• Operating at varying levels of detail (strategic to close attention) and able to prioritise key activities globally.
• Demonstration of delivery of quality outputs to tight timeframes.
