Job Description:

Position Description

We are looking for a team member to work on design, development and support of Ethernet, RDMA drivers and other software components for Marvell Intelligent Ethernet Adapters (IEA) and Converged Network Adapters (CNA) in VMware ESXi hypervisor environment.
The successful candidates need to be able to program complex hardware and develop/enhance drivers for this hardware. Excellent debugging skills, understanding of modern Linux networking is a must have.
Specific requirements

• Thorough understanding of Modern OS kernel internals
• Strong understanding of OS and system software concepts like DMA, interrupts, processes & threads, memory management, cache management, synchronization etc.
• Proficient in low level C programming
• In-depth understanding of Ethernet protocols, TCP/IP and networking stack
• Previous experience with ESXi driver development frameworks and APIs is plus

Good to have

• Knowledge of Virtualization and development experience for hypervisor environment
• Understanding of PCI Express and IO Virtualization techniques
• Knowledge of technologies like Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
• Understanding and experience with networking storage technologies such as iSCSI, FCoE, NVMe/TCP would be good
• Knowledge and Experience with RDMA (RoCE or iWARP) would be another great plus.
