This position has overall responsibility and accountability for delivering quality internal IT Services (Infrastructure Service Delivery and Application Support) for the HPS Cloud Hosting Group. This will include partnering with other business groups to support services related to application hosting, and infrastructure support to an internal and external customer base. Adheres and promotes Honeywell policies procedures and standards, to optimize the support process and add value to the Business and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.

Primary responsibilities
Support of VMware stack running on Dell hardware (minimum 10 years of virtualization experience.)
Must have a strong experience in VMware infrastructure design.
The candidate must be able to show evidences of previous virtualized projects he/she led that achieved high availability and cost savings.
Able to support VMware Cloud Director-based environment delivering on-prem, secure, segmented cloud environments to customers.
Need to have a strong experience with securing virtualized workloads.
Monitor and produce reports on the environment and dashboards for management.
Drive infrastructure and application service requests to timely completion.
Manage delivery of HPS Cloud Hosting IT Infrastructure and services to the business within agreed SLAs.
Ensure all environment component versions are kept up to date according to SLAs and standards/certifications.
Facilitate the Honeywell integration for new and current acquisitions and initiatives.
Remains current in evolving technologies within scope of responsibility to better identify value-add solutions for the Business.
Provide proactive capacity and availability planning and proposals for upgrades/replacement.
Adherence to Honeywell procedures.
Appropriate communication with business users.
May be involved in participating with Global IT teams for the delivery of services
Qualifications and work experience
Broad technical expertise in varied application architectures including Hardware, Windows, Linux, Database, and Virtualization
Technical expertise in servers, VM servers, VM environment
Experience in customer service delivery in a matrix organization
Expert ability to communicate effectively and sincerely in customer interactions
Proven background in IT Leadership
Dynamic leadership ability that can develop and energize multi-disciplined work teams to learn and apply new skills/techniques to business needs
Strong presentation skills and the ability to interact well at all levels of the organization
Skilled in talent management including the ability to develop and coach others
Strong team building skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
Experience in delivering infrastructure services across multiple countries a plus
Knowledgeable in service delivery techniques and disciplines, ensuring full adherence to standards
Global experience preferred
Education:
BS degree in Information Systems or related field
Minimum of 10 years IT infrastructure delivery experience
English must be fluently spoken and writtenYOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent experienceExperience with SharePoint and Microsoft Suite
