Bogie Equipment
| 5 – 7 yrs | Pune |
1.Thermal assessment of the friction pair (brake disc and brake pad or wheel and brake block) using a company specific calculation software.
2. Evaluation of input data for the thermal design (brake calculation, route profiles, etc.)
3. Project-specific selection of suitable brake equipment with special consideration of safety relevant aspects
4. Calculation of the wear life of the friction pairing and optimization of brake concepts to reduce the life cycle costs
5. Preparation of the results of the thermal simulation for project-specific test bench tests
6. Cooperation in the further development of internal processes and standards for thermal calculations, ensuring the transfer of know-how to other departments.
7. Result Presentation for internal and external customers
8. Close cooperation with project management, friction materials department, bogie equipment application engineer, disc design department and mechanical systems engineer (Sales & Systems).
9. Comment on customer specifications regarding thermal requirements
10. Working knowledge of CAD software CREO4 , PLM Software Windchill
Requirements:
Master degree in mechanical engineering (or comparable)
Profound physical knowledge and understanding (Dynamics and Thermodynamics)
Structured working style, strong analytical thinking
Knowledge in railway industry (preferable)
Fluent in English
Programming knowledge preferable, (e.g VBA)
