You will be part of Automotive System Performance team that is responsible for validating hardware and optimizing the performance on Snapdragon Automotive and Telematics chipsets, Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting System performance analysis on silicon considering parameters like bandwidth, latencies, MIPS etc.
  • Automotive use cases analysis (mainly Telematics) and optimization for system performance
  • Understanding of Modem RATs (4G, 5G) and Modem system performance is must
  • Understanding of SoC architecture and performance aspects of key cores like CPU, DSP, DDR etc.
  • Hand-on experience in handling Evaluation boards, lab equipment like Modem Network simulators, Power supplies, Power measurement setup, oscilloscope etc.
  • Understanding of on-chip debug system and Performance Monitoring Counters/Events architecture
  • Evaluate/develop customize tools for profiling system performance
  • Knowledge or exposure to C-V2X and application processor is plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in SoC System performance analysis.
  • Experience in working on any ARM based platforms, mobile/automotive operating systems and/or performance profiling tools.
  • Strong Knowledge of any bus protocols (AHB, AXI, ACE) and network on chip.
  • Experience in application or driver development in LinuxQNX and ability to create/customize make files with various compiler options
  • Must be quick learner and should be able to adapt to new technologies
  • Working experience of scripting languages (perl, python) and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to create professional quality reports and slides using MSOffice or any advanced visualization tools.
  • Experience in Proof of concept development
