Designation: Manager – Solutions
Reports to: Functional Head
Desired Experience: 8years to 10 years
Work Location: Chennai
Roles and Responsibility:
• Provide functional direction to a team of approximately 10-15 software engineers.
• Work closely with them to ensure they have what they need, remove impediments and enable them to meet commitments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance working along with Global Teams.
• Work across functional teams to drive quality deliverables.
• Build, grow, lead, and mentor the team.
• Work within a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery development model.
• Engage with the team in a daily collaborative style.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Technical and Professional Expertise:
• Minimum of 5 years experience with Agile/DevOps Development Practice
• Experience in cloud technology would be an added advantage
• Programming Knowledge in Python, Java or one of those would be mandatory
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Hands- on experience in developing and maintaining scalable web services platform using Apache/Tomcat, J2EE, XML/JSON and MYSQL (REST style services)
• Knowledge on RPA would be an added advantage but not mandatory
Others Skills:
• Good People management skills
• Should be capable of leading/ guiding and mentoring a team
• Should have the capability of communicating with internal and external stake holders
• Should have a flair towards problem solving
• Should be responsible for the team’s performance management
