QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate/Post Graduate (preferably B com.) RELEVANT & TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: In depth knowledge of the product (equity settlements) and various market rules 4-5 years of industry experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience Should have been responsible for managing about 4-5 team Members Under Him/Her BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY REQUIRED: Commitment / Proactive approach. Eye for detail to pick up deviations from the procedure. Good communication skills (verbal and written) Positive attitude. Ability to lead the team to a common goal FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Knowledge of key markets rules. Awareness of key markets and equity settlements. Analytical Skills. Customer focus The incumbent of this role will be responsible for managing the equity settlements team in Bangalore. He/She must ensure the service is provided to the client in risk controlled environment and adherence to SLAs. He / She should co-ordinate closely with the global counterparts ensure appropriate governance structure is in place. He / She must also act as first point of escalation for the team members and take accountability for the performance of the team resulting in the overall deliveries to the client 1. Accountabilities Accountable for the performance of the team. Perform quality control checks to ensure quality of delivery to the client. Maintain and update standard procedures. Implement and maintain governance structure with the client Succession planning. 1. Activity Monitoring / Challenges Ensure team is fully aware of all the procedures and deadlines at all times. Ensure operations are run in a risk controlled environment with adequate checks and controls. Maintaining the standards of delivery consistently. Play active role in identifying and implementing process improvements. Ensure enough cover is maintained for all activities through cross training to eliminate key man dependencies.
