About the team
This position is responsible for the day-to-day, business-as-usual, support of the Windows, Virtual and Cloud server environments. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Windows, Virtual and Cloud environments.
What you will be doing

  • Administration of Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012 / 2016 and 2019 Servers, Complete management of ESX 5.0 / 5.1 / 5.5 / 6.0 and 6.5 Servers.
  • Analysing and debugging System logs / Memory Dumps / Cluster logs.
  • Integral part of Incident Response, Change, Problem and Service request management activities.
  • Act as a Vendor and application development group escalation point.
  • Create, remove, and expand file systems and volumes on OS and virtualisation level.
  • Provide SAN switch / director monitoring, configuration and support.
  • Work with senior peers to develop Incident and change management procedures.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience with Windows/VMwareu2019s products (VMware ESX 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 vCenter,) within modern IT production data center and infrastructure environments.
  • Advanced working knowledge and experience with Windows AD and Virtualization (L3 support).
  • Cisco fabric infrastructures, and replication technologies for data recovery experience.
  • Troubleshooting experience on Windows and Cloud platform.
  • Familiar/aware of ITIL procedures.
  • Education: Any graduates
  • Good communication and client handling skills

Added Bonus if you have:

  • Nice to have Windows/Vmware relevant certification
  • Knowledge of data storage protocols including CIFS, FC, FCoE, iSCSI, and NFS a plus.
  • Backup, Network and Storage design and implementation.
  • Experience with UCS, Nutanix and Dell Compellent.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Project, development, and end-user support.
  • Knowledge of FISu2019 products and services.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization.
