Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
Role/Responsbilities:
Overall in-charge of Costing function for India Legal Entities. Responsible for India LE’s Inventory Management Reporting and controlling. Statutory Audit and internal audit support for Costing and Inventory. Act as a SAP and systems champion

  • Overall driving Costing function for India Legal Entities –
    • Standard Cost Set-up
    • Interim Cost Change
    • Margin Analysis
  • Statutory Audit and Internal Audit
  • SAP and System Champion

Responsbilities:

  • Driving Inventory for India Legal Entities –
    • Process control – adhering to DoA (Delegation of Authority)
    • Cycle Count process monitoring
    • Sub-con inventory reconciliation
    • Physical Stock Audits
    • Inventory Aging analysis
    • Inventory obsolescence analysis and projection
    • Price Variance analysis and projection

Driving inventory improvement projects
Education/Exp:

    • Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant (CA is preferred)
    • Knowledge of SAP PR2/HANA
    • Excellent in MS Office
    • 5+ years of experience
    • SAP system knowledge is key – past system audit experience is also considerable
    • Manufacturing experience is preferred
