The Infusion Specialty Disposables business (ISD) within BD is on a transformational journey towards category leadership and is seeking a Strategic Project Analyst. This role will have the unique opportunity to impact both portfolio redevelopment and expansion to broader solutions. Reporting to the project marketing commercial manager WWISD, the Strategic Project Analyst will be accountable for maintenance and further development of all financial, service metrics, key process performance KPI’s and ad hoc reporting for the project. The role requires using the developed database (Alteryx) and reports (Power BI) to support the project core team and cross-functional partners. The role will require someone who has more of a strategic/business focus, with business / marketing / strategy experience and a strong technical skillset.Job Description

Create and maintain relevant tracking tools and metrics for the project core team, leadership reports, and marketing and region updates Identifies through analysis trends and improvement opportunities that align with the project waves, rationalization, and revenue objectives Works collaboratively across the core team functional partners to validate data that is leveraged by all end users Acts as the primary analyst for the project in all reporting aspects including but not limited to: SKU FG and component base data, data updates, region sales data, revenue $, COGS, pricing and targets, project wave tracking metrics, and launch metrics.

Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelors degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Strong Excel experience developed from analytically focused engagements (preferably healthcare industry related)
- SKU rationalization analysis
- Ability to work effectively within a team and matrix environment
- Strategic/business focus, with business / marketing / strategy experience and a strong technical skillset.
- Business Analyst: 2-5 years experience / Sr. Business Analyst: 4-6 years in client services, professional services industries
Preferred:
- Experience with SKU rationalization, pricing diagnostics, manufacturing, and supply chain logistics (preferably healthcare industry related)
- Degree concentration in Health Care, Business or Software Development
- Medical communications or healthcare industry experience
- Working understanding of relational database technology
- Direct experience with advanced analytics platforms (Alteryx, Tableau)
- Experience in market analysis, or other related business function, ideally including marketing, strategic innovation, sales, market research, product launch, planning/execution
