This role is responsible for
- Developing and driving marketing action plans in liaison with the Global product teams to help WQ APACachieve their AOP targets
- Achieving the strategic goals for products via Product Life Cycle Management by driving new product launches in APAC
- Alignment with the rest of the vertical teams, the broader marketing team, sales, service, R&D, SCM etc.
- Implementing impactful sales and application tools and strategies in WQAPAC
- This position may also assume responsibility for cross-functional company and/or marketing-wide initiatives and meetings as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of a long-term strategy for the target markets/customer segments and support in the development of business cases as well as a vertical (business segment) strategy in WQ Asia.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to align on specific needs to implement growth strategies and adapt when needed
- Brings customer centricity to commercial activities by gathering VOC to understand customer pain points
- Drive cross-functional alignment with the rest of the marketing team, sales, service, and Claros/IoT
- Understand and leverages the relevant Danaher Business System (DBS), including but not limited to: Problem Solving, Daily Management, Launch Excellence, Customer Segmentation, VOC
- Analysis of markets, competitive information, global sales performance etc. and development of an effective marketing strategy for new product launch ; including analysis of competitors portfolio and sales tactics and development of attack/defense plans.
- Conduct business reviews and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and implement corrective actions for new product launches.
- Help define and develop a marketing communication mix for the product portfolio and analysis of the positioning of the product portfolio and global pricing
- Conduct customer visits and launch activities such as the launch of new products at major congresses, product training and/or boot camp activities
- Support development of the regional strategic plan
