SSC MTS Career Growth & Promotions
Regular Increments Selected MTS will get a regular salary as per the 7th CPC. This will be revised every year to include regular increments in Basic Pay as well as Dearness Allowance.
Departmental Exams and Skill Development Selected candidates will have scope for internal departmental promotions if they acquire computer proficiency or other specialized knowledge or if they can clear the departmental exams.
Promotions MTS are promoted every 3 to 6 years based on the vacancy in their department. An SSC MTS can be promoted up to 5400 Grade Pay at the end of the tenure.
