Every candidate must pay an SSC GD Constable application fee of Rs. 100/ to register. Women & candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying the online application fee. The SSC GD Constable selection process consists of four different stages.The candidates who qualify in all the stages of the examination will have to appear for document verification.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT),
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST),
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and
  4. Medical Test.

Once again SSC has given a surprise to SSC aspirants by changing the old exam pattern for SSC GD Constable. SSC has published the new exam pattern for SSC GD Constable in the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Notification which was released on 27th October 2022.

As per the new written exam pattern, there will be a total number of 80 questions having a total weightage of 160 marks. The total time duration of the SSC GD Constable Notification 2022 written exam will be 60 minutes. There will be four sections in SSC GD 2022 Written Test- GK, Reasoning, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.

  • Each question will carry 2 marks
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
