SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2022: Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022)
The age limit mentioned in the official notification is as follows:
- The candidate’s minimum age should be 18 years.
- The candidate’s maximum age should be 27 years.
- Candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004.
- The relaxation upper age has been tabulated below according to the category.

Apart from the above eligibilities candidates need to satisfy the Citizenship criteria also. The candidates need to fulfill the following to fit in the SSC CHSL Application Criteria:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
