General Intelligence & Reasoning This section was easy as usual, but 1-2 questions were quite time-consuming and calculative.
General Awareness GA questions were of moderate level. It usually comes up with surprises in SSC CGL tier-1. Current affairs have been a favorite topic in previous years and this time most of the questions came from ancient/medieval history.
Quantitative Aptitude This section was of an easy-moderate level. Most of the questions were lengthy. This Section gave a tough time to the candidates with its 7-8 time-consuming questions.

The examination has several Tiers which are conducted over several days. The results are posted after conducting each tier successfully. SSC CGL Exam Analysis General Intelligence & Reasoning

The Reasoning section is said to be the most scoring section of SSC CGL tier 1. In the last year’s exam, the questions asked from this section were of an easy to moderate level, a few questions were a little tricky and a few were a little bit time-consuming. Most of the questions were doable, overall, if all the shifts are considered, this section was the easiest of all.

English language section gives some hard time to candidates. The questions from the English language section were easy-moderate. In last year’s exam, tough Vocabulary gave hard time to candidates. One with good command of English can easily ace this section with good marks.

Quantitative Aptitude can be a challenging section in SSC CGL Tier 1 because sometimes the questions which are asked in the examination are very calculative and time-consuming, so to score 20-22 marks in this section a candidate must have a good command of calculating the equations fast.
