The ADFS business development (BD) and account management (AM) team are looking for an experienced Salesforce.com Developer to help build the next evolution of tools within our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes, and translate these into innovative solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. This candidate must be an expert in the full suite of Salesforce tools, including APEX, Aura, and Lightning Web Components. Experience integrating Salesforce with first-party APIs or managing Salesforce data mart is a plus.
Salesforce.com Developers proactively identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows, optimize back-end processes, and raise the bar on robust and scalable code-writing practices. In this role, you will create custom user experiences that streamline business processes, build a world-class component library to empower Administrators to deliver more custom features at scale, and collaborate with software development teams to build seamless integrations. You will also maintain existing features/ products, help design and implement new global initiatives, provide user support, and drive quality improvement processes globally. You will operate independently as well as in partnership with Program/Product teams and key stakeholders for requirements gathering, solutions consulting, and implementation of new feature-sets. Your technical skill-set and teamwork capabilities will be a key contributor to successfully launching global-scale features in Salesforce.com and beyond as part of a larger Sales Technology roadmap.
Primary responsibilities:
. Own end-to-end technical analysis, design, development, and implementation of Salesforce applications and customizations.
. Build solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging Force.com, VisualForce, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
. Support cross systems integrations across native Salesforce eco system, as well as first-party APIs and data centers.
. Partner with product owners to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value
. Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com in innovative ways to improve existing business processes, increase rep productivity, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
. Contribute to improvement of DevOps processes and tools including scrum, user support, platform security, quality/ version control, and CI/CD
. Learn and adapt to Amazon internal builder tools and native AWS technology

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
. 5+ years of post-internship, hands-on engineering experience on Force.com platform
. 5+ years of experience with Visualforce, APEX, and SOQL/SOSL
. Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs.
. Experience with new implementations as well as instance migrations
. Experience in building complex, scalable and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
. Verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
. Understanding of broader systems engineering concepts including data structures, data modeling, database schemas, event-driven vs. message-driven architecture, and API integration best practices
. Experience with Git Version Control Systems and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows within Salesforce.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.com application architecture coupled with good knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
. Demonstrated success in leading at least two full life-cycle Salesforce.com implementations
. Salesforce Application Architect Certification
. Salesforce Systems Architect Certification
. Platform Developer II certification
