- Creating test requirements, test plan, test scenarios, test data with high testing coverage and pass rate – 10% of daily time
- Join SCRUM team and keep good collaboration with Dev, PO, manager and other team members to complete tasks in good deliverables – 5% of daily time.
- Creating automation test cases using SOAP UI in Ready API tool, Groovy script – 40% of daily time.
- Writing complex SQL queries to pull data from different source systems – 15% of daily time.
- Estimate the testing effort for the system requirements that are defined by the Program Manager. Reviewing the test results for potential performance issues, re usability, and/or anomalies – 5% of daily time.
- Adding acceptance criteria to the user stories to ensure all the details are captured required for testing – 5% of daily time.
- Involved in analyzing and understanding the requirement specifications – 5% of daily time.
- Testing in different environments and create new jobs and branches through Jenkins – 5% of daily time.
- Tracking QA tickets and once fix them update status to Complete – 5% of daily time.
- Other similar job responsibilities are also assigned – 5% of daily time
Skills/Experience:
- Good understanding of quality assurance processes and testing methodology.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA automation testing experience in client server API and/or web-based applications environment testing.
- At least 2 years of experience testing back end API / SOAP systems testing.
- Strong ability to automate test cases using SOAP UI (Must have).
- Strong ability to write scripts and C# or Groovy code.
- Strong Ability to write complex MS SQL queries.
- Must have worked with Agile SDLC and contribute at that level.
- RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle), able to write complex SQL queries.
- Must be a team player and ready to work within a geographically diverse team.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
