Should have the capability to understand Request for Proposal/Quote (RFP/RFQ) documents and have an eye for detail while appraising such documents.
Thorough understanding and interpretation of Financial Statements
Thorough understanding of Costing Principles & Techniques
Understand and interpret Operational metrics to compute relevant costs of projects.
Closely work with various stakeholders and understand the Pricing Objectives on a case to case basis and have the ability to propose appropriate Pricing Strategy.
Should be organized and meticulous in the approach especially when multiple Business units are involved.
Take accountability in the end-to-end process of delivering Pricing for any deal.
Should also have the capability to build Coherent Pricing Models & Pricing Catalogues
Should possess or be current on market intelligence of various Products/Solutions/Services and their Price offerings.
Evolve metrics to track and improve existing processes.
Review Master Sales Agreements / Statement of Works to analyse any variance in pricing and / or related clauses and explore cause and effect of such findings.
EXPERIENCE: Overall experience of 10- 20 years with at least 10 years in a similar role and preferably in BPO organisation.
OTHER SKILLS:
Excellent Communication, Presentation & Inter-personal skills.
Flexibility to play an individual or team role with strong focus in team building & mentoring.
Proficient in MS Office suite
Exposure to Financial systems like SAP, J D Edwards etc. and their corresponding reporting tools would be advantageous
EDUCATION:
Preferably B.E., MBA, or B.Sc., MBA.
(MBAs should have majored in Finance)
