Job Description :
We are looking for a strong Windows Server Administratorwith good hands-on experience.
The shortlisted candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
You are required to have skills in the following areas :

  • 4-7 Years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
  • Active Directory/Office 365/Wintel /File & Print Server permissions, SCOM, Basic Networking
  • Experience specifically with Active Directory and Office 365 Administration is a plus.
  • Experience with Powershell scripting.
  • Knowledge of networking, DNS, Exchange is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Monitoring agents and systems like SCOM & SolarWinds
  • Good Knowledge of Window 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019, VMware ESX.
  • Provide 24×7 on-call support via a rotational schedule.
  • Basic knowledge in OSI Layer and TCP IP Protocols.
  • Basic knowledge in IP address, Subnet mask
  • Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve network related issues.
  • Knowledge about DNS and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of static and default route
  • Basic knowledge of BGP
  • Basic switching knowledge-> Tracking end-host using MAC ID, checking uplink status, and basic idea about Layer 2 protocols
  • Basics of BGP, OSPF, and static and default routing should be fine
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Exceptional customer service, organization, interpersonal, time-management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn custom applications, support, and troubleshoot.
  • The high degree of self-motivation.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to new tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Day to day support on resolving SCOM alerts Triggered against WindowsServers and Active Directory.
  • Active Directory Administration and Troubleshooting.
  • DNS, DHCP Troubleshooting.
  • DFS management and Troubleshooting.
  • Support Hardware problems in co-ordination with Vendors.
