- Administer and ensure compliance with all local and corporate statutory laws, Indian GAAP, US GAAP and Honeywell Accounting Policies and Business Controls for Buildings business.
- Ensure timely completion of various Audits (Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Cost Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, Internal / Corporate audit etc) at BU level by timely submission of information and data to internal & statutory auditors & consultants.
- Ensure timely submission of various information to Corporate Finance team wrt. Deferred Tax Workbook, International Tax Package, Tax Assessment, Quarterly Advance Tax, Indirect Tax.
- Drive collection of various statutory forms (viz; C, H, I, D-1 & VAT-C4 Forms) and documents against Special Sales (High Sea sales, Drop Shipment, Exports) with External customers & Internal functions to minimize Tax liability. Also ensure timely issuance of C Forms to vendors
- Review Balance Sheet Account reconciliations for the business on monthly basis and ensure no accumulation of P&L items in balance sheet.
- Supervise day to day transaction processing activities like manual payments, Journal Voucher processing wrt custom duty/manual payments etc.
- Ensure timely payments to Foreign Interco vendors by way preparing MIS & regular follow up with Supply Chain & COTA and submission of required documents to Bank.
- Advising different departments on various GST related Transactions.
- Conduct audit of various Key control processes of the business as per requirement of SOX and work closely with different functions to drive correction of GAP / issues.
- Partner Special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance and Commercial with strong knowledge of US GAAP, Indian GAAP,
Indirect taxation – GST, Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise, Customs
Hands on experience in area of managing various audits and Indirect Taxation related matters.
Experience of dealing with Big 4 auditors.
Strong business process and controls orientation.
Working knowledge of SAP- FICO Module.
