Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to play a lead role on our Lab126 Finance Team supporting the Connectivity Solutions Group within Amazon Lab126.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will partner directly with the product and business teams to drive visibility and sound decision making in all areas of the P&L including go-to-market, demand generation and strategic business initiatives.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
As part of this role you will be responsible for supporting for one/more categories with the following:
· Go-to-market: Support new launch with analysis on pricing and profitability.
· Demand generation: Evaluate/Approve business case to support demand generation activities across direct and indirect channel
· Infrastructure Investment: Evaluate/Approve additional roll-out investments for manpower/capex/margin.
· FP&A: Support annual planning cycles as well as long-range plans for the current business. Support month-end closing and reporting.
· To be successful in this role, you need to have solid knowledge of internal tools (SQL, Cognos, Oracle) and very good excel modeling skill. Experience in working with Telecom and Internet Services category in India will be a plus. You will be working with business team in India and finance colleagues based in US/International locations and no/minimum travel is required.
Basic Qualifications :
· Four to six years of work experience as finance analyst
· Post graduate degree (MBA or equivalent).
· Excellent excel modelling, written and oral English communication skill
Preferred Qualifications :
· SQL knowledge
· Familiarity with financial tools (Cognos/Oracle)
