This position reports directly to the Finance Leader, HPS India. The major responsibilities of this position:
Work closely with LOB finance leaders to drive reporting and forecasting of consolidated HPS India numbers.
Lead AOP, STRAP financials at HPS India level and ensure close co-ordination with all stakeholders in India and abroad.
Ensure accurate reporting of numbers to various forums – HPS business, Board of Directors for HAIL (a listed company), HGR team and maintain walk between all reported numbers. Provide high quality and insightful commentary on numbers.
Proactively analyze financial results and forecasts to identify improvement opportunities and drive relevant actions together with LOB finance leaders. Make best use of data available from all systems. Perform ad-hoc analysis as required. Be on top of all variances such as from previous year, from AOP, from Latest Estimate.
Ensure right forecasting of HPS India numbers.
Lead all activities related to reporting / forecasting systems for HPS India as SPOC.
Drive key activities around inventory: standard cost updates, provision for Inactive, Obsolete, Surplus (IOS) inventory, check on valuation at quarter ends.
Perform various control analytics for HPS India in collaboration with other functions.
Act as SPOC for data requirement from HPS India.
Roll up numbers from LOBs and firm up HPS level numbers for various requirements of HAIL legal entity e.g. profit forecast for advance tax, forex inflow and outflow projections.
Support HPS India finance leader on various projects.CA /CS /ICWA with 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting.
Comfortable and experienced at dealing with various functions and global stakeholders.
Ability and willingness to go beyond just reporting role; proactively perform analytics and drive actions.
Fluent in verbal English and in written communication.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Preferable SAP . Excellent in MS Office tools. Able to add insights to numbers through use of tools such as waterfall charts.
Experience with HFM preferred.
Good knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS / Ind AS – Good understanding of project accounting will be an added advantage.
