Position Summary:
This position is within Harman Connected Car Division and is located in Bangalore, India. The purpose of this position is to lead the development and execution of Harman’s strategy for test and validation for ADAS products. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, significant validation experience of ADAS products and the experience of working with global development and validation team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the test plans that meets both performance and safety requirements for ADAS products
  • Define validation requirements and testing strategies for ADAS products in simulated and real world environments
  • Drive the development of processes and tools required for bench testing
  • Generate safety requirements for testing from the functional requirements.
  • Properly documenting all test procedures, working within the tracking system, and ensuring test results traceability.
  • Defining and coordinating global data collection standards for V&V activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineer/Computer Science
  • 6+ years of automotive test/validation work experience required
  • Hands on experience in HIL or SIL testing strategies is a must
  • Hands on experience in verification and validation ADAS/Active Safety systems
  • Experience with test plan development for non-deterministic systems
  • Proficiency with standard engineering tools
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies and test driven development
  • Ability to work effectively within a global matrix environment
  • Self motivated, result driven individual, must be passionate about the work
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
