Position Summary:
This position is within BU ADAS/AD in Harman Connected Car Division, located in Bangalore, India. In this position you will be part of a global team, who will design and develop features for ADAS products. These features will support NCAP guidelines as well as support autonomous driving levels in conjunction with other vehicle sensors and systems. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, knowledge of engineering discipline, and experience in ADAS functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a key contributor to technical solutions, architecture and designs of our ADAS products
  • Work with architects, engineers, designers, testers and managers in multiple locations as needed to help integrate and productize the solution
  • Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results
  • Participate and drive solutions in a dynamic and highly demanding environment
  • Implement modules that will meet the requirements of today and scale up for future requirements
  • Create and document software and modules design/implementation
  • Stay up to date with current trends and technologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Deep Knowledge of OpenGL ES and GPUs
  • Professional skills in C/C++ and object oriented software engineering
  • Good knowledge of software architecture principals and design tools
  • Good Knowledge of Linux and Android
  • Experienced in creation of high quality cross platform reusable software
  • Experience in system performance optimization
  • Self motivated, result driven individual, must be passionate about the work
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
