Tasks / Responsibilities:-

  • Own and maintain the target configuration required for platform products (SDK, images, yocto layers)
  • Own and maintain configuration for assigned projects for full project life-cycle
  • Integrate platform software components or platform software products to a Product/Customer project
  • Provide initial training on platform product software for the Product/Customer Project organizations
  • Support project & platform teams in analyzing problems and preparing solutions
  • Interface regional project team with development centers
  • Support initial bring up of project target with software
  • Participate integration workshops at project’s site
  • Provide leadership to solve cross-domain problems
  • Provide a working target configuration to client teams, train team members with the use of target and environment
  • Cooperate with different Product/Customer Program organizations and projects to understand their requirements, provide the gap analysis in the existing platform offering
  • Cooperate with architecture group to align the target and platform configuration with the defined software architecture
  • Manage the technical dependencies between different department’s software products

Required Skills:-

  • University degree in engineering (electrical engineering, information technologies or appropriate graduation)
  • Experience in Linux and Yocto environment
  • Experience in make/cmake, Python and bash
  • Experience in embedded software development
  • Experience with system and GenIVI components
  • Experience in working with distributed teams
  • Basic knowledge of dependency and integration management
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-driven
  • Fluent English
  • Typically > 3 years experience in embedded software development using C/C++
  • Willingness to travel
