Job Description
Responsibilities: The candidate will work with state and central government agencies for pilot testing and advocacy of digital tools for improving public financial management in India. As a part of this engagement, the desired candidate will be required to support overall project implementation focusing on evaluating potential technology solutions (such as microservices, blockchain, smart contracts, similar frameworks/ tools) which can be implemented and upscaled to improve government budget execution and spending efficiency.
Job Description
Documenting best practices cases in technology frameworks
Facilitating process documentation for the existing Public
Financial Management systems in the select state(s) (end-to-end)
Preparing a to-be-scenario based on inputs received from the gap analysis study
Responsible for advising the states on digital tool implementation and integration during the implementation
Facilitate or conduct of a hackhathon
Collaborating with various government departments, regulators, technology solutions providers, private sector partners, international organizations and governments
Hosting delegations from governments and planning exposure visits alongside clients and the team
Required Candidate profile
Desirable Experience
Experience of conceiving use-cases of Blockchain such as smart contracts and smart invoices on platforms such as Etherum, Hyperledger etc
Experience of working in 1 or more states (AP,Telangana, Bihar and Haryana)
Experience in one or more of the following functional areas –

  • Public finance and expenditure (preferred)
  • Direct benefit transfer (preferred)
  • Social welfare program implementation
  • Social protection programs
  • Process reengineering and digitization
  • Social welfare program implementation
  • Project management

Experience of handling a large team

  • Existing relationships with government, multilateral agencies, donor agencies, think tanks and industry

Skills and competences:


Ability to work with senior government officials and CXOs in the private sector
Ability to lead assignments involving diverse project teams and to work with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
Leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, people-management skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Salary: INR 10,00,000 – 14,00,000 PA.
