The Business Applications Group Web team is an agile team responsible for the web platform to support the services and products of all the BAG offerings.
As a software engineer lead on this team you will be responsible for software and services to enable high performant, delightful web sites and services. You will coach, mentor and lead a team of innovative and passionate engineers working on the latest technologies on modern web and cloud. We are looking for a lead who is passionate about engineering solutions spanning responsive web sites to highly scalable services with a bias for automation and tooling

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-10 strong developers
- Ability to think end-to-end from the UX to backend to provide the most optimal solutions
- Architect, design and develop secure, scalable, and resilient solutions
- Work closely with the design and PM teams, able to collaborate across disciplines
- Mentoring developers on the team. Participate and drive code and design reviews
- Help the team in making decisions on adopting the appropriate technical stack
required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software design and development
- be a strong mentor and coach to your team
- great problem-solving and debugging skills
- hands-on experience in any of .net / azure / c# / react / javascript
- strong focus on quality and engineering excellence
- experience with azure technologies / platform
- experience with test driven development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, telemetry, and automation etc.
- self-driven and willing to take on big challenges and accountability
- experience / willingness to work in a global delivery model
preferred qualifications:
- experience in developing responsive and modern web sites
- experience in any of the scripting frameworks is a huge plus
- experience with accessibility standards for web applications
