Description
Develop and maintain File System kernel modules and supplementary cross-platform user mode components on Linux, Solaris and AIX
▪ Work with distributed team of agile and highly skilled developers to support new platforms and deliver new features for HA and DR product
▪ Assist with automation of build management and unit testing on Unix/Linux platforms
▪ Research and prototype support for new platforms/OS
▪ Work on customer issues
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Applied Math or equivalent combination of education and experience
▪ Eight plus years of software development experience
▪ Five plus years of proven hands on experience in kernel mode development on Linux
▪ In depth understanding of Linux kernel internals
▪ Strong cross platform CC++ skills with excellent debugging skills
▪ GNU tool chain, source control and bug tracking systems
▪ Understand and practice AgileScrum
▪ Excellent communication and documentation skills
