Job Duties (Summary)
- Prototype, program and help ship the next generation of SaaS products that lets user access data, services and data models seamlessly.
- Build a scalable web services container architecture as well as the various services including data access, data cataloging, search and discovery, data transformation etc.
- Work in collaboration with different teams.
Qualifications/Education
- 5 – 7 years of experience developing and maintaining complex software applications
- Strong Expertise in Core JAVA (Java 7 & Java 8 and above) programming
- Expertise in complex SQL queries
- Excellent object-oriented programming ability, an appreciation for loosely coupled architecture, and a clear understanding of why best practices are best practices.
- Practical knowledge of Core design patterns
- Familiarity with Linux
- Working knowledge of internet protocols (e.g. HTTP), relational databases, and multithreading
- Self-directed, with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Experience leading medium to large d application development projects
- A proactive rather than reactive mindset
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge in the use of big data, business intelligence and analytics and experience in dealing with large data sets and distributed processing
- Strong inter-personal communication and collaboration skills.
- The candidate should contribute improving engineering discipline/process and software engineering experience using Agile
- Good written, editing, proofreading and oral communication
Additional Information
- Experience in the data and analytics field in the marketing/advertisement and/or big-data platform domains
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Working knowledge in AWS technologies like EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda functions etc.
