As the Social Media Specialist I – Video Manager, your responsibilities include management of videos for the Biosciences Division (BID) this includes maintaining videos in Brightcove and on our YouTube Channel, updating the video tracking matrix, implementing SEO standard methodologies on YouTube (with support and supervision from the local area Team Lead and the US-based Social Media Content Marketing Lead and/or the US-Based SEO Manager) as well as executing and optimizing video campaigns in Google AdWords.
To be successful in this role, you should excel in a fast-paced environment, able to balance multiple projects at time, have strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. The ideal candidate is accurate, self-motivated, deadline driven, and constantly seeks opportunities to learn and improve the performance, processes, or content for the division’s video marketing strategy. As BID’s video manager, be knowledgeable about the latest trends and changes for video marketing within the social media landscape and be able to apply them to campaigns in collaboration with the US-based Social Media Content Marketing team.
As a part of working for a global company, be available to work flexible hours in order to participate in meetings spanning multiple regions.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the BID Video tracking matrix and repository
- Maintain videos in Brightcove adhering to standard methodologies for SEO and meta-data, including proper file nomenclature, thumbnail images, titles, descriptions, tags, etc.
- Publish and optimize videos on our YouTube channel following video SEO and analytics standards, including CID tracking, keyword research, captions, end screens, etc. Provide recommendations on optimization opportunities as directed.
- Perform competitive analysis using TubeBuddy (or similar) to discover opportunities to achieve better YouTube search rankings and competitor placement for advertising campaigns
- Build/Maintain/Optimize Google AdWords campaigns focusing on Video and Discovery Ad formats
- Employ Agile methodology within Workfront to ensure that tasks are completed on schedule, provide status updates and set reasonable business partner expectations while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for yourself
- Provide regular Reporting updates utilizing Brightcove, Adobe Analytics, YouTube, and Google AdWords data to show performance, progress, and make optimization recommendations
- Stay current on video trends and new capabilities to identify growth opportunities for channel improvement
- Assist with video demonstration opportunities utilizing the Envoke platform
- Execute interactive video capabilities utilizing Hapyak and build case studies demonstrating tool’s efficiency
- Coordinate with Team Lead and US-based team to ensure proper alignment on assigned tasks as well as with business partners for clarification or correction.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies and follow the guiding principles
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or in relevant field
- Hands-on experience in publishing and maintaining videos on YouTube, preferably for a brand
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Basic graphics design capability utilizing Adobe Photoshop (or similar)
- Basic video editing capability using Adobe Premiere (or similar)
- Able to operate independently against a framework of defined business objectives
- Ability to interact well with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people
- Strong (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal experience
- Strong time management, organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing to Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industries
- Intermediate to Advanced video editing capabilities
- Google AdWords certified
