Siebel Developer (CSW) with EIM skill set:
Must have strong technical and functional knowledge of Siebel Application 8.x modules.
– Hands-on experience in development using best practices and standards on Siebel Application technologies.
– Must have worked on Siebel Workflow, Configurations and Scripting
– Must have knowledge of Siebel EAI (Web services: Inbound and Outbound), XSLT, Data Maps, Dispatch Service, eScripting
– Well versed with Siebel architecture and deployment
Should be able to:
– Review Functional Design Documents (FDDs) prepared by functional consultants
– Create Technical design document & its traceability with FDD
– Should have worked on at least 2-3 projects in Siebel Open UI space
– Hands-on Experience in customizing PM/PR files
– Experience with Siebel Web Templates used in Open UI
– Excellent written, verbal, presentation & documentation skills to foster clarity and predictability.
Must be able to communicate with people at different levels including customers, vendors, management, technical stakeholders, developers etc.
Additional knowledge of Siebel EIM
Good understanding of Siebel Data Model and Data Architecture
Develop batch integration solutions between Siebel Applications and external systems
Design the data entities and support the development of EIM mapping and data loads including the data integration pieces
Working knowledge of database utility tools like TOAD, SQL Developer
Solid working knowledge of RDBMS’s (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server), Operating systems (Windows Server), ETL
Siebel Admin and EIM:
Desired Skillset: Experienced Siebel Admin with EIM skill set desired
Well versed in:
Siebel Server installation & configuration (includes Document server etc.)
Siebel Upgrade / Patch management
Setting up Siebel tools, Mobile/Dedicated Client. Extracting local databases for developers.
SRF/Repository migration. DDL synchronization.Deploying non-repository items.
Setting up SSO/LDAP authentication
Performance tuning.
Supporting Production environment which includes
• Maintaining high application availability
• Planning and Coordination of production release.
• Daily health checks which includes regularly checking status of servers & components. Checking status of JOBs/RCRs/ Tasks. Server resource monitoring(CPU/Memory/Disk space)
Automation of daily migration/monitoring activities by writing shell scripts or batch jobs
In case of issues preparing RCA & RCCA documents
