Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer, the candidate will help build a best-of-breed platform for developing high-performance Telco applications. Responsibilities will include integrating, enhancing, and contributing to leading open-source projects such as Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Istio and Kubernetes with a particular focus on EFK/ELK based logging platform.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software development, with recent experience deploying and maintaining a production grade logging platform.
Experience with Elastic Stack version 6.X and above
Experience in deploying Elasticsearch on Kubernetes
Experience with establishing logging best practices and influencing teams in adopting them
Experience in troubleshooting Elasticsearch deployments including systems and software levels
Experience performing Elasticsearch diagnostics and performance tuning is a plus
Excellent Java and/or Go language skills and strong OOD knowledge
Experience with life cycle management of open source applications
Experience with all aspects of the software development process – concept architecture, design, implementation and testing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education: Candidate should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred.
