Senior Specialist , Payroll
Bangalore
ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensures payroll is processed with speed and accuracy. Serves as liaison to team members and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies
Key Responsibilities
1.Audits team member pay records, and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc. Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.
2.Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly
3.Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements, and stays current with changes in the law.
4.Documents payroll processes and procedures. Ensures all processes and procedures meet government requirements. May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, related documentation, and SOX testing.
5.May work with outsource vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
Essential Skills
1. 4+ years of experience in Payroll
2. Exposure to final settlement activities
3. Experience in auditing team member pay record
4. Interpret pay policies

RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in resolving difficult payroll issues. Generates reports and recommendations based on analysis. Managing employee queries, support to accounting requirements, adhoc reporting, voluntarily be able to take up additional responsibilities based on business requirement, extensive team player, good communication skills, flexible in terms of time and activities, discipline and follow the leader’s instructions, interested in Payroll projects, etc.,
