The responsibilities of a tester at this position are as follows :
Automation test engineer should have very good understanding of what he needs to test- as per the application. He/She should be proficient in automation of software testing, and he/She should be able to design test suites accordingly. A software test automator should be comfortable using various kinds of automation tools and should be capable of upgrading their skills with changing trends. He/She should also have programming skills so that he is able to write test scripts without any issues.
- Experience in Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure.
- Determining the scope of test automation, Selecting and using the right tool for automation.
- Documenting test plans, test designs, and test strategies.
- Automating and executing the development of the test script
- Analyzing and generating test report
- Excellent documentation and analysis skills – Requirement analysis, test cases, defect reports, test execution reports.
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product.
- Good in Analytical skills and Decision making ability.
- Attention to details.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment, testing user stories.
- Hands-on BDD framework like specflow.
- Good to have hands on in testing Image processing and AI applications.
