Micro Focus is looking for an experienced and motivated NetSuite Developer with excellent understanding of the NetSuite application and best-of-breed configuration and development methods. The candidate would be developing NetSuite code and scripts with focus on stability, performance and automation, and provide direct correlation to business requirements.

We require excellent communication skills and documentation abilities, as well as industry-standard coding abilities including full unit, system, and integration testing. The candidate will need to be able to develop in accordance with all compliance and legal requirements including but not limited to IFRS, SOX, and GDPR. A good understanding of best coding methods to ensure a high level of cyber security is a must.

Our development teams follow strict testing and release management procedures, and the successful candidate will be expected to learn and adhere to the established processes and procedures.

Micro Focus is an international company with offices and employees in many locations around the world. As such, there is a significant amount of work across time zones and differing cultures. The ability to work on distributed teams with customers from all regions of the world is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of Scripts and Workflows to Enhance NetSuite.
  • Create, Maintain and Optimize existing NetSuite customizations.
  • Interface with internal Business Analysts to drive solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conducts unit testing of all development work performed.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions as needed.
  • Satisfy documentation requirements in a SOX environment.
  • Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad-hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested.
  • Knowledge of Integrating NetSuite with other applications.
  • Manage from start to finish the overall analysis, testing, and execution process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades.
  • Adhere to Source Code best practices for maintaining SuiteScript and for migrating solutions between NetSuite environments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for NetSuite development and enhancements.
  • Work with end users to fully test existing NetSuite functionality and enhancements.
  • Provide hands-on support for the deployment and validation of NetSuite customizations to Production.
  • Review all configuration changes and manage production releases to ensure the highest quality of code deployment and security.
  • Stay up to date on all latest NetSuite ERP methods and training.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or more years of working experience in enterprise application development.
  • 6-10 years overall experience, with 6 years minimum as a NetSuite Developer.
  • Knowledge of transactional business processing in CRM, ERP and Accounting applications with proven skills in SQL, SuiteScript, JavaScript, UI development, 3rd party Integrations etc.
  • NetSuite Certifications are a plus.
  • Understanding of NetSuite integration tools and processes; exposure to Dell Boomi is a plus.
  • Track record of gathering business requirements and delivering highly technical NetSuite solutions from those requirements.
