The Role Responsibilities
This mission is to
look at MDG as a central tool for Finance Reference Data Governance across
multiple data streams in the new ASPIRE finance landscape. The team forming
part of this mission will drive towards this objective and is preferably
required to possess the skills defined below to meet the stated
responsibilities.

  • Govern
    and Control Master Data Requirements from multiple streams
  • Provide
    an integrated view of Master Data requirements in current and target Financial
    Infrastructure (ASPIRE)
  • Roll
    out White Paper/Recommendations on the target approach along with the
    constraints and interim/target workarounds
  • Build
    customer journey maps for each delivery streams and ensure fulfilment of the
    targeted solution
  • Construct
    Business user stories for each release/sprint
  • Evaluate
    the UAT scenarios and assess the completeness/sign off of the business
    scenarios
  • Independently
    handle stakeholder discussions and provide periodic feedback on progress to
    delivery teams and management
  • Act as
    the single point of contact for all MDG requirement discussions with BAU teams
    and Aspire streams

Strategy

  • Work with technology
    and business stakeholders to produce clear customer journey maps and business
    user stories
  • Act as the single
    point of contact for all MDG Reference Data requirements across current and
    target Finance Infrastructure.

Business

  • Work
    closely with Aspire Business Streams and BAU teams to ensure smooth target
    operating model is in place for the newly referenced Finance Reference Data
    Elements to be maintained in MDG tool

Processes

  • Review and standardise
    the way that data quality issues are managed and reported.
  • Establish a mechanism
    to aggregate, quantify and risk assess DQ issues.

Risk Management

  • Responsible
    for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to
    the Group relevant to Finance Reference Data Strategy
  • Through
    assignment of direct and indirect reports, establish and maintain an
    appropriate framework and procedures for monitoring, identifying, measuring,
    assessing, reporting, and managing compliance, regulatory, financial crime,
    operational and reputational risks that pertain to Data Quality.

Governance

  • Provide
    periodic information to Delivery Team and Management on the progress made in
    the various phases/sprints of MDG

Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s
    Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the
    highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across
    Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance
    with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and
    the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and
    collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance
    matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Academic
    degree from a well-recognised institution.

Other qualifications:

  • Experience in Banking Industry
  • Geographic experience, including Asia
  • Core knowledge of UK %26amp; International regulatory
    environment
