Site Name: India – Maharashtra – Worli Mumbai Posted Date: Jun 14 2021 The job reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain Finance and has one direct report. Provides sign-off of monthly, quarterly and full year P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and leads target setting, financial update, forecast and plan processes for the Area Supply Chain. Is accountable for accuracy of actuals and forecasts for the Area Supply Chain Works closely with the Area Supply Chain Leads to drive Supply Chain strategy and performance including site productivity, capital investment, inventory, volume forecasts, risk management and quality and to drive end-to-end distribution performance on issues such as warehousing, distribution models, contracts, inventories etc. Drives the performance of the key GSK Supply Chain Transformation goals within the region including the GSK Production System, Procurement Excellence and Portfolio Optimisation. Supports shaping the Area Supply Chain’s capital investment strategy, review projects according to the GoA and maintains oversight to ensure projects are executed as approved and with appropriate controls in place. Plays an active role in the development of end-to-end strategy for Area through the One-P&L. Works closely with Area Pharma Finance to drive enterprise thinking and effective coordination on issues such as volumes, in-market distribution, strengthening CCC, inventory optimisation and Area SC support for commercial opportunities to realise incremental value for GSK. Analyse and assess reasonableness of forecasts and annual 3/1 Plan after necessary review. Finalise periodic Forecasts and Annual Budgets. Present Forecasts and annual 3/1 Plan Budgets to the local Management team, above-country Regional management teams for reviews Liaise with local Entity Finance team and interpret local statutory requirements, GSK corporate policies and Local Accounting Standards, and establish processes for ensuring consistent compliance thereof Oversee month closing activities, reporting of critical performance reports as regards opex, variances & commentaries. Monitor & adhere to SoX Compliance Ensure that all risks for department are identified, assessed and mitigated in accordance with risk management principles Work closely with LoC Finance, multiple ICSSs, CBS FS and Supply Chain Accounting to drive process improvement in relation to Financial reporting for the end-to-end supply chain, especially in-market inventories and market allocations of supply chain costs. Where required, provide coaching and development to the Supply Chain Finance teams Lead, across Area SC design and implementation of bench-marking and financial performance hub, Route to Market evaluation and business optimization, as well as lead integration and embed cash optimization / working capital and waste removal Job Specification Qualification : Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance from a Top tier school Years of experience : 10-13 years of post Qualification experience Skills Previous Supply Chain Finance experience a benefit Proven finance partnering skills Excellent communication skills and ability to make complexity simple Demonstrated experience in financial management and planning Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and finance processes Demonstrated experience with senior stakeholder management Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated experience of providing management insight and value added analysis for complex issues Some understanding of how technical finance issues can impact the delivery of financial performance in a manufacturing environment. Ability to act as an effective Finance Partner in a very complex commercial environment across multiple countries Ability to form strong relationships with site, supply chain and commercial teams to ensure the best outcomes for GSK Ability to lead and drive transformational change and cultural development Capability to lead and work in a complex matrix environment Excellent skills in Excel (Power Pivots , Power Apps, etc.) Proficiency in analytical tools viz.
