This role is instrumental in the setting up and successful ongoing management of a new geographically aligned team of the ERP specialists whose responsibility will be to drive optimal local market adoption and usage of GSK’s global ERP system modules in the following processes: Order to Cash; Supply Chain Planning; Warehousing & Distribution; Record to Report; and Purchase to Pay.
The role will be responsible for managing a team of ERP Adoption Specialists, providing leadership and technical guidance. The role will be key in defining the strategy for specific processes as assigned and will be responsible for driving optimal local market adoption and usage of GSK’s global ERP system.
Role Expectation:
- Along with the Global Head, set out a clear vision for the global adoption teams including a benchmark for end user adoption and capability, a diagnosis of approach and market challenges and implementation strategy.
- Work with the Global Head and other team leads to ensure consistency and sharing of best practice across the new Global ERP Competency Centre organisation.
- Work with local market and/ or hub leaders to build and sustain a capable and strong Super User and End User community.
- Ensure Adoption Specialists are clear on the team strategy and support model to the Super Users community
- Ensure Adoption Specialists are always up to date on process and system knowledge and can provide the right level of support to the Super Users. Proactively identify capability needs and ensure these needs are met in timely manner.
- Embed effective and clear communication as way of working in the ERP Competency Centre to help build relationships with various stakeholders, including the super users.
- Ensure that all end users always receive relevant communications on the system, especially upgrades, outage, technical issues, etc. in timely manner by working closely with stakeholders within and outside the ERP Competency Centre team.
- Support the Global ERP Competency Centre Head in defining and implementing user adoption measures.
- Drive remedial actions (such as training plans and stakeholders’ engagement plans) basis system utilisation metrics and methods to improve super users’ and capability and engagement levels
- Assume a Global Lead role/ be the single point of contact with central teams on one of the processes as assigned by the Global Head
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives engagements with central teams such as Tech, EVO, GPO, etc, ensuring right level of engagement and collaboration to achieve success.
- Engage in Communities of Practice (CoP’s) and drive participation across the team as well as ensuring there is a two-way communication channel between CoPs and end users.
- Support the Global Head on management and allocation of Adoption Specialists to various ERP projects which the ERP Competency Centre team is involved.
We would like to speak to you if you have these experience and skills
- Detailed SAP understanding in at least one of the following processes:
- R2R (including FICO, AA, BW/Financial Consolidation, BI Reporting);
- P2P (including FI, SLM, Ariba);
- O2C (including SD, FI, FSCM, EDI, BI Reporting);
- SCP and W&D (including SD, SCM, MM, BI Reporting)
- Strong understanding of the business end to end processes and deep SAP knowledge to be able to understand business requirements; troubleshoot; and provide subject matter expert advice to your team and market/ hub users.
- In addition to the primary module of strength, you possess good awareness of other modules, including data and standard reports
- Led in-market business processes (e.g. Finance (R2R/ P2P) Manager, Procurement Manager, Customer Service & Logistics Manager).
- Led teams and managed both team & individual performance.
- Demonstrated strong coaching and mentoring skills that would align to GSK ways of working
- Proven delivery of projects and results.
- Ability to follow global strategy whilst balancing local needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and work closely with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Strong cultural awareness resilience and ability to work in situations with conflicting priorities and business critical timelines.
- Independent thinking and good decision-making capabilities
- SAP deployment experience will be an added advantage.
- Flexible to work in shift operations to cater based on the business needs.
