Senior Manager – Accounting

What you’ll achieve
The Global Accounting Shared Services is where a lot of accounting processes for Dell Technologies globally are consolidated and standardized. The accounting processes include Cash & Bank, Inter-company, Fixed Assets & Leasing, Comp & Benefit etc. Bangalore is one of the global hums for the Global Accounting Shared Services where some of these functions are performed and managed.
As a Senior Manager:
- You will be responsible for the Global Cash & Bank Accounting for Dell Technologies.
- You will be managing a team of around 40 team members.
- You will be responsible to ensure that the accounting the Cash & Bank is compliant with Dell policies and as per GAAP.
- You will work with Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Customer & Financial Services (CFS) and other Accounting teams as your key business partners.
- You will continuously look for opportunities to improve and simplify processes without compromising on controls
- Promote Dell’s Finance of the Future vision and encourage and help team members to scale up and equip themselves with the skill sets required for the future.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP and IFRS or equivalent Local GAAP relevant to the area of work
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience or a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience
Desirable Requirements
- Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadershipexperience
