The ideal candidate is someone who is strong with search algorithms, search technologies and search infrastructure and will deliver reliable search experiences.
We are seeking proven technical expertise to help build out Search Query Understanding and Ranking teams to power search intelligence for our multi- tenant cloud- scale search system.
Experience Ideal Experience Level – 3- 10 years.
Qualification
Machine Learning enthusiast with solid experience in Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval , Deep Learning, Data Mining, Search Semantics, etc.
Hands- on experience in the following areas: Information Retrieval and Information Extraction, Knowledge Graphs, Question Answering Systems, Conversation Systems, Deep Learning applied to Text, Speech, and Vision
Experience with Search and Relevance Engineering, Machine Learning Platform. Highly Efficient Multi- Threaded Applications.
Work on building taxonomy guided, keyword based textual search, location based prioritizing, newsfeed like system and many more.
Develop new ranking features and techniques and build upon the latest results from the research community.
Solid engineering and coding skills. Ability to write high performance production quality code. Experience in Java, Python, Scala or similar languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
Write clean, testable, readable and maintainable code that scales. Take ownership of your code and features, from design through deployment and support.
Passionate about solving problems involving massive raw data- sets and optimization. And hence, refining the search experience for your clients (using Lucene/ Solr/ Elasticsearch).
You love working on scalable machines that have critical application across various enterprises.
Come up with ideas and techniques to advance the ranking by optimizing machine learning models for search and browse.
Understand the existing use cases of search and work with the team to develop strategies to improve search relevance.
Should have experience in using advanced and sophisticated algorithms from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
