Position Overview
The role is for our data analytics team. The team partners with Product management, Sales,M&S and other business functions to produce state-of-art analytics and also provide recommendation to improve our processes and products. Moreover, platform built will also serve as Data Analytics (DA) platform for Diebold Nixdorf’s customers to provide them data driven insights.

Position Overview
The role is for our data analytics team. The team partners with Product management, Sales,M&S and other business functions to produce state-of-art analytics and also provide recommendation to improve our processes and products. Moreover, platform built will also serve as Data Analytics (DA) platform for Diebold Nixdorf’s customers to provide them data driven insights.
You are responsible for
- Work closely with business partners to extract meaningful insights using a variety of data sources – structured, semi-structured and unstructured and on-boarding these data sources on to platform
- Helping team designing and implementing Azure cloud based data analytics solutions while following best data infrastructure and data governance practices
- Choosing and using appropriate Cloud services(primarily Azure) to build end-to-end data analytics pipelines
- Develop dashboards to inform business decisions with an emphasis on automation and scalability
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Should have passion for data and data analytics and preferably has worked on problems in this space, preferably from scratch.
- Min 6+ years of experience with more than 2+ years in Azure Data Analytics preferably
- Min 2+ years of working experience with Azure Cloud specially in Azure Storage, Azure Data Services and Azure Security. Ideal candidate should be well-versed with latest features available in these services
- Able to quickly produce POCs/prototypes also for solutions around various business use cases
- Hands-on expert level coding experience preferably in Python/C#/Java
- Expert level knowledge of REST APIs, authentication and authorization
- Working experience with Big data platforms (Databricks and Hortonworks) and tools like Spark 3.0,ETL tools,NoSQLs (MongoDB,HBase,Cassandra),Kafka,Apache NiFi/Talend,DW systems(Snowflake),HIVE/Impala but not limited to only these
- Well-versed with Data visualization tools like PowerBI,Tableau etc
- Candidates with Cloudera CCA-175 OR/AND Databricks Spark certification would be preferred. Azure certification preferably Azure data engineer certification would be an excellent added advantage
- Excellent to have exposure to DevOps tools/technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Should have B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science or related discipline) preferably from a reputed university/college
