Optum Tech reporting and analytics is hiring a Business Analyst as part of the growing product implementation Providing high quality analytics solutions for voice and system base auditing and NPS improvement solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with data and business intelligence analysts to create insights and storyboard the same for the consumption of business users
  • Act as a translator between the business users and data / BI teams
  • Document requirements in use case form
  • Define the approach to the analytics project implementation
  • Develop source to target data mappings capturing business rules and logic for supporting the analytic process
  • Identify opportunities for business process redesign and improvement
  • Establish, coordinate, document and maintain data procedures, processes, and policies that enhance data integrity and quality
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of business analysis work experience
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases like SQL Server, Oracle
  • Good written, presentation and oral communications skills
  • Skilled using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational and follow-through skills
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct and work in a cross-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt training
  • Understanding of US healthcare
