Test Engineer -. Grad/Academy resource. Shadows senior/lead, hands-on, resides in Squad.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or Information Technology
# RUBY Experience is mandatory
At least 3 years of practical test automation experience and testing expertise
Defines and reviews test conditions for given user stories, reviews and designs test cases/test scripts and supporting data
Specifies requirements for environment, data, resources and tools.
Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases.
Report daily on any issues and test progress to Squad
Contributes to corporate QE standards and definition of best practice.
Understands approaches to mitigate risks
Effective communication at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
Designing and writing automated UI (Web and Mobile), API, and database test scripts
Test Automation tools and frameworks: Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, RESTful API, useMango and Appium
Test management and SDLC Collaboration tools: Confluence, JIRA, Zephyr, TM4J
Coding experience in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Python,
Technical knowledge of SQL, Linux, Microsoft, Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, BDD/TDD/FDD, MongoDB, Jenkins, JMeter, GIT, Agile/Scrum/Kanban
Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines
Object oriented programming, design and debugging skills
Applying knowledge effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines
Demonstrable experience of one or more of:
ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing
Experience in performing exploratory testing
Experience of DevOps
